Hockey Showdown: LW Varsity Triumphs Over Naperville 2-1

FLOSSMOOR – The LW Varsity hockey team delivered a strong performance earlier tonight at HF Ice Arena, edging out Naperville with a final score of 2-1.

Colin Lassiter ignited the scoreboard early in the first period, showcasing his skill with a remarkable coast-to-coast goal which was assisted by Max Angsten. The momentum continued to build for LW when Ryan Sullivan found the back of the net with just 18 seconds remaining in the first period, securing what would ultimately be the game-winning goal.

Naperville responded in the second period with a goal of their own, but the LW defense held firm for the remainder of the game. JJ Sullivan, dominating in goal, made several crucial saves to ensure his team's victory, showcasing a standout performance that kept Naperville at bay.
